Dear Parents and Guardians,
James Campbell High School (JCHS) is in the process of submitting requests to the legislature to allocate funding to renovate their school’s athletic facilities. JCHS has not had any major renovations to their athletic facilities for the past 55 years. There are no permanent restroom facilities located at the football stadium, their gym has a capacity that can accommodate approximately 50% of the student population, there is no girl’s locker room, and other facility type issues that is in need of renovation. The entire budgeting process for capital improvements takes approximately 4-6 years, at minimum. Therefore, your children will be the ones possibly benefitting when they attend JCHS. There is a rally being planned at 7 pm on Thursday, April 13, 2017 at the Ewa Beach Neighborhood Board Meeting. The board meeting will be held at the Ewa Beach Community Public Library. This will be your opportunity to provide feedback to area legislators and board members to support needed renovations for JCHS’s athletic facilities.
